The Robert and Joanne Simpson Award is awarded for outstanding leadership and contributions to tropical forecasting and research.

 

The William T. Gray Award is awarded for outstanding leadership and/or contributions to the field of tropical meteorology.

 

The John Coleman Broadcast Award is awarded to a broadcast meteorologist for outstanding efforts to inform and prepare the public during a hurricane strike.

 

The Lew Fincher Award is awarded to an individual that recognizes unique historical tropical events that highlight hurricane response and recovery and leads efforts to inform and prepare the public.
